could i be the reason for someone living,
could i be the reason for someone giving,
could i be the insperation for another to write,
could i be the reason they dont give up the fight,

could my words touch someone in a way they never thought,
or the reason that two minds in one place are brought,
could i make someones life seem better than it was,
could that be the effect, could i be the cause,

can words from a stranger make your life evolve,
could they give ideas for your problems to solve,
could they strike a cord, light a spark in your mind,
when all hope is lost, can they help you to find,

does my mind hold solutions to another persons fate,
can i help them make decisions before its to late,
does someone else hold the key to my own destiney,
will someones elses words finaly set me free,

life is a jigsaw puzzle , with so many pieces that are missing,
and all of the advice we recieve i think we are all dismissing,
the plain truth of the matter is right before our eyes,
but we dismiss all that , believeing its all lies,

"good advice " is just what we wanted to hear,
we dont listen to real advice, maybe out of fear,
fear that we know its the right thing for us to do,
the thing that will make our lives "clean and new"

there are many things we hold onto, though they are doing us harm,
many people we can do better without, regardless of there charm,
but human nature means we try to protect our selfs from pain,
but we are blind,blind to being hurt again and again.
