its interesting, certainly alot better than some of the depressing poems that people post on here (no offense to anyone but i like it a bit more upbeat or at least a bit more imaginative, just my taste and opinion) i like your use of imagery, i read this and thought this comes from somebody with a very good awareness of their environment. i like the use of scale too, makes me feel conscious of our individual insignificants in the bigger scheme of things.
post more if you have some more.

Those 'depressing' ones are written because it's a release, thank you very much.
I can only ever write when i'm in a 'darker' mood, otherwise I can't put any words together.

hey laura like i said no offense intended, it wasnt aimed at any particular person, i was expressing my opinion, im sorry you felt cause to write that. i know some people are most inspired in darker times, i was just voicing my opinion that this guys poem was just a bit of a break from the norm to what ive seen in here.

Well, I only write for myself, too.
There's only the people that have read my poems on here that have actually seen them.
