Thanks Scott, it's Cornish, not sure if it's got a special name other than "hunting green".

I had to giggle, he kept calling the fly plaid his picnic blanket! Laughing

I took these pics 2 weeks ago on a cycling trip to Wittersham in Kent.

I have always liked those round Oast houses that seem to be all over Kent.

That is vauxhall Bridge Scott, but it was my son's legs! Taken at 5.30 this morning..

I thought I recognized the bridge. I couldnt identify them all by sight now but was a motorcycle courier for a company in Wimbledon years ago and so some of the Thames bridges stick in my mind a bit, seeing as I used them so often. It's great to walk along the river at sunrise Smile

Nice boats LV, are any of those for hire?

Here is one I took of my trip up the river Arun in Sussex on Tuesday, although I have played about with it a bit in terms of saturation and contrast Razz

This is the bandstand in the park. Not taken today and Paint Shopped in coloured foil - but I like it.

It didn't work for me...

Is it blasphemy? Laughing

That's brilliant handsel!

There's an old bandstand up on southside clapham common - shame they are not used anymore.
Or maybe some are?

I remember in the late 70's bands played in Bournemouth gardens, but as far as I know the bandstand is all but derelict now.

I dont know of any locally to me, but the ones in Eastbourne and Bognor Regis are still in use. The Eastbourne one is huge and has some good concerts in the summer.
