I have been on this site for a number of years but am still looking for a L/T relationship. My profile is active and honest but all I seem to get is messages from men in foreign countries or scammers!
Any advice would be welcome

You are doing nothing wrong. You are simply looking in the wrong place. This site has now become so bad and ruined by scum it's time for the best to leave me thinks...

They are right, looking here isn't the best place. Get out and meet people. Look to see if you have a singles group around. Some of them have lots of fun things to do. I know that there is an on-line dating site for the UK that also has speed dating and local activities. mail me of your interested and I will send you there site name. Good Luck!

Been nice on here but it seems as was mentioned before it has been ruined by all the scammers. Shame really because if Admin sorted it out it would be a good site

The most important thing is, that all members help to reduce spam by doing the following:

- report every spam message instead of deleting it directly

- report user profiles of spammers, using the "report" button on every profile page

This is the only way to fight spammers and scammers....

Any free dating sites are bound to be hit by scammers and the likes - easier targets. And it's not exactly easy to hunt them all down without the help from other users. Scammers are really rather easy to spot and so all you need to do is report and disregard them.

So the question would have been, since it seems you deleted your account, how are you portraying yourself? What is it you say in your messages, in your profile, to get people interested? It's not impossible by any means to forge a relationship on this site; there's plenty of people who have met and gotten together on here. Because I can guarantee you, it's not scammers and spammers which are stopping you from finding someone.
