you have now met someone...they mean something to you...

would you now stop 'actively' flirting with others..?

would you want your partner to do the same? or would you be happy if they 'actively flirt'..

does it matter if they dont know about it?

and when i say actively i mean encourage it...

I'd be ok about it if my boyfriend 'actively' flirted with other girls.

Flirting is harmless. So is looking.

As long as you don't touch.

I tend to stop noticing other guys when i'm in a relationship. i'm a one-guy girl. yes it would bother me if he did, i expect monogamy

I feel kinda uncomfortable about it, but I know I'll be fine as (if) it progresses. The fact that the guy in question has changed his profile from 'dating' to 'talking/email only' helps Very Happy

edit: ah! Didn't read that quite right I don't think. I'm talking about friendly flirting, having a giggle, not out and out ''hand in her knickers'' flirting Laughing

Mmmmm ... i'm in two minds about this one ... i wouldnt like my b/friend flirting ''outrageously'' with other females .... but friendly banter is fine Very Happy

Personally speaking I would because if I didn’t then it would be a sign for my partner that its ok to do it too. I don’t think I would want her to do it either, ..I am the jealous sort lol. Saying that on a place such as this you cant really avoid flirting and its sometimes going to happen even if you don’t encourage it. Just have to handle it correctly

see...personally, i would say i couldnt do it.. out of respect to the other person..

cannot see the point of encouraging others to flirt with you if you have a partner..i know people can throw around some flirtatious banter at times, and thats fine...

How do you encourage somebody to flirt with you?

They either want to flirt with you, or they don't.

They either want to flirt with you, or they don't.

encouraging them would be like making sure it continues over a period of time...feeding of what they say and responding in such a way as to get more comments of them....which i would say, would lead to it getting a bit deeper than just the odd flirtacious comment..

Hm..

Still don't see anything wrong with it.

Getting deeper? Confused
