Ok, so i'm all flustered by all these ridiculous suggestions saying "Oh can you add a feature to let me know if a girl likes me..." or "Can you add a feature to bug girls into answering my messages" (you know who i'm talking about Wink)

Here's some suggestions that I feel would improve the site that don't invade privacy.

The "Random profile" screen could be customised in your settings to show random profiles from a certain range of criteria par example - "looking for no-strings". I'm not sure if the system already does this (I know it only shows me 'chicks with pics', that's about all I know there really)

Danni's outbox idea, so we can see what we've sent messages to.

Don't show "new" female lesbian members on a straight male's "New users" list.

Don't show "new" male members on a hetrosexual male's profile, and females on a homosexual male's profile. Don't show males on a hetrosexual male's "who is online" list, vice versa for homosexual. This is particular to hetrosexual males because there's usually a dominant amount of men online, who usually saturate the "who is online now" box.

I know this'll probably all require ridiculous amounts of PHP, but being able to customise the left menu to remove unwanted options (top 50 anybody?)

When replying to a message, show a picture of the user above the message. Seriously.

Forums need to have a filter for the symbol "@" to prevent email addresses being posted. The odd occasion it's actually valid can be PM'd.

The avatars on the main site. I dunno. I'll start a whole new thread on how awful those are If they can't be bothered to put a pic up, don't let them use those - they're awful and never actually look anything like the user, so why?

Discourage people putting in their "IM" addresses, just allow a checkbox for each one (AIM, MSN, Yahoo etc) to show people you have it. If you're going to share your IM (which is already discouraged by the site) then you'll do it in a PM - is there even a way of using the information from the IM settings to share with a user? Nah, it's more hassle than it's worth.

Wow. Loads of ranting. I'm probably bored. Rolling Eyes
