Maybe this is unrealistic/unworkable...but maybe people could have an option to let the site know if for instance their meetign on flirtbox.co.uk lead to marriage or the likes...

would be a good advertisement for the site, and might give some of the doom & gloom merchants encouragement to stick at it.
