Poor LV can't be in two places at the same time! Isn't it about time that some new moderators to replace those who have moved on?

Yeah I agree so many mods never log in anymore, its quite bizarre that they are still holding on to the status.

Some of these mods are comparatively new. Seems they make a regular poster a mod, then they disappear. Always has been a problem since the beginning.

Not sure who the 'Moderator' is..havent seen him around

I try do my best....the Moderator is away at the moment, some of the other Mods ive never even seen on the forums, at all

Some of them were around when i took my little break! Aradon, Chiefohara, hugglies and megalone i think he has left all together! Chiefy i know is still in touch with the owner! But it is not a critism LV but merely pointing out how unfair it is! FB has moved on and so therefore should the Mods! Absenteeism shouldn't be accepted!

No, I know you were not critisising, I totally agree with you, there shoulde be a cut off point where the Mod has been absent for a certain time, what does it take to pop on every now & again?

I've been here years and have never seen XQueenofScotsX. Everybody else I've seen, but most haven't been around for two years or more.

I know I'm only a mod of two forums, but I wouldn't mind giving that up. I'm only on a little bit now, sometimes not at all for days at a time, and when I do log on I can't be arsed reading every post.

By no means do i intend to denigrate or insult LV but i really do think that the time has arrived to appoint new MODS right across flirtbox! Surely having one person dealing with everything not only leaves LV open to critisism but also cannot be considered democratic and fair by any stretch of the imagination!

It's ok eccles I could'nt agree more! I may not be here much longer myself, I really dont need the hassle, insults & childish name calling that goes on, seriously thinking it's time for me to leave Flirtbox completely...I have asked about replacing the absent Mods on more than one occasion, but as yet nothing has been done..

AM perhaps you are right! I think the chatroomies tend to think of themseves as a seperate entity! The forums tend to be poulated by the more mature! LV one of the things a Mod Should rise above is name calling, ignore it, In the past few weeks i have seen a flare up on the forums which was started by what i considered imaturity and that was name calling and a demonstration of the perfect spoilt brat who couldn't keep her gob shut!. Rise aboveit, remain impartial and refrain from supporting a cause without thinking firstly is it a just cause! To be honest with you i enjoy the forums, the chatrooms i find sleep inducing! one line inane chat with no substance! Perhaps if you will allow it a one off LET OFF STEAM thread where censoring is there but handled with an incredibly light touch, it might be a way of clearing the air?
