I think a seperate box for SENT messageswould be a good idea. It would also help you to recap on what and to whom you have sent the message to? Rolling Eyes

I agree...my memory is not as it was Laughing and it would be helpful to look back to see what you had said to a person....perhaps I just talk too much to too many people Razz

I have already done that...but not added it as I have to ensure that spam messages, that are NOT delivered
still appear as if they had delivered...otherwise spammers find a way around the anti-spam mechanism

I know who I have sent a message to, but i think I forgot the stamp, as I'm still waiting for a reply Wink Wink

I know you've said it exists, and that's great - but even a little arrow or something that appears next to a message in your inbox once you've replied to it would be handy. I lose track sometimes and then don't bother replying cause I think I've already sent one. Embarassed

a SENT box as well as a SAVE box would be great.

however, for those who really need to 'offload' messeges and remember replies, i find the following method handy:

in MyDocuments, create a folder named Flirtbox.

for every contact you want to keep track of, creat a folder uding their user name. for example, to keep track of posts to me, you would create a folder named Bristolman.

for every messege you receive and want to keep, copy and paste the body of the messege into notepad and save it as a file inside the appropriate folder. copy the Subject Title and paste this in the Save As field.

the same applies for messeges sent. prior to Submitting posts, copy and paste the body of the messege into notepad again and use the Subject title as the filename again.

simple really isn't it?

alternative method is to append to a single file, that way, you don't end up with lots of files and you don't have to worry about naming the file - just name it after the user's ID. also, it means you only need the flirtbox folder and no subfolders.
