So assuming I want to "out" a few fakers, I'd go into this forum and post a message saying "so and so isn't who they say they are".

How exactly am I meant to prove they gave me a fake phone number/a bunch of pics they took off a porn site or a falsified webcam feed?

It's a good idea, but the fakers read the forums too. I'm fairly sure they'd plead innocence - and seeing as the only way nowadays to prove you're innocent is to go on webcam - most people will just start accusing people without webcams of being fakes?

I think it's probably better that people just share this information among their trusted friends, as opposed to everyone on the forums.

If someone's using a picture taken from some random website for their profile, surely we'd just report it?

Sorry, but i've encountered so many people on here who aren't who they say they are and this idea sounds a bit ill-planned and could cause more trouble than good.

Course, I could be wrong. That's what this discussion is for Smile

Flirtbox certainly has it's fair share of Weirdo's and Perverts, it's a case of looking out for each other at the end of the day. It could even boil down to someone who's ill-mannered or offensive/abusive. It could help bring the community together.

I do agree, but it's still a could as opposed to will Smile. So how would you propose would be the best way to "out" people you know for definite are not who they claim to be?

There is not need to proveanything...but if you came across a fake, let us know.

Sometime this happens: Someone asks your your phone number....then you receive a text message with a premium short code as a phone number to reply to....hard to prove sometimes, but if it is a new phone number it is really likekly.

Or if you KNOW a picture is copied from another website or if someone turns out to be a guy instead of a woman on a webcam chat, also let us know....also report ANY sort of messages from people from Ghana, Nigeria, Russia..etc asking for money for an eye operation, flight ticket or anythink like that. They already have a really hard time on Flirtbox due to the various filters and techniques...but sometimes a message like that still gets through.
