I don't like to appear presumptious, but wouldn't it have been easier to do the new forums by county?

I agree....that would mean I would get a Fife one....lots and lots of places not being covered by doing it the way its been done

In Canada I did that - that was a lot of work
In Ireland there are both regional forums as well as forums for the biggest (Flirtbox) towns.

I could also do some regional ones in the UK .... later maybe! I haven't had any breakfast yet...

What about:

- 1 for Wales
- 1 for Scotland
- some regional ones for England

I would still like to keep the ones for big towns though....

I agree. Alternately, sort by proximity. You could select your (nearest) town, and it's give you people from all the neighbouring towns as well.

Yeah would be good having a fife 1, but i enjoy the forum the way they are atm. Nice active place.

yeah i agree, why change them, it is nice like this.....if you start to make them regional then you will stop a lot of people interacting outside there region, and where is the fun in that.

I must have misread the question. Thought it was about the search members thing. Not sure whether there are enough people to warrant that many forums.
