It seems (and I stress 'seems') that this site might be good for friends, but I can't see it leading to many dates/relationships.

On a pay site you have more of a vested interest to at least attempt to meet up. After all you don't want to piss your money away for nothing. Whereas on here people just don't really seem to want to communicate with one another, and if they do its just for a laugh rather than with any intention of taking it to the next level.

Its early days yet, but thats the impression so far.

(Oh yeah, I can see this place being good for married men/women or one night stands too. But most dating sites are usually good for that anyway. Goes with the territory.)

It does work, but i think the trick is take your time, walk and dont run, There are some great people here and the key is be yourself and you`ll be fine, follow your heart and dreams and the rest should sit into place

No I don't think websites like this have a very high success rate because they have got far more men than women, plus most of their members live too far away from each other spread out across the whole of the country.
