A few successes for sure. Our very own Cheeky n Kevin for a start. One of my mates met her fellah through here. They've been together nearly 10 months now and I've made some great friends. Pol being the greatest then there's Chiefy, who I'd still drag down an alley Twisted Evil and Hugz who is gorgeous beyond belief and then there's.... and the list goes on

Just hang around, be yourself, have fun and most of all, daft as it may sound, forget you're looking for a date!

It seems (and I stress 'seems') that this site might be good for friends, but I can't see it leading to many dates/relationships.

On a pay site you have more of a vested interest to at least attempt to meet up. After all you don't want to piss your money away for nothing. Whereas on here people just don't really seem to want to communicate with one another, and if they do its just for a laugh rather than with any intention of taking it to the next level.

Its early days yet, but thats the impression so far.

(Oh yeah, I can see this place being good for married men/women or one night stands too. But most dating sites are usually good for that anyway. Goes with the territory.)

what you dont see is the private messages, msn and telephone calls that lead to meets.. which a few people on here have..

No you cant go out with someone who lives hundreds of miles away from you, it would cost you a fortune in travel expenses for a start and you would spend more time traveling back and forth than you would spend seeing them. 8 miles is about the maximum distance for a relationship.

Even if they dont work as well as some ways of meeting potential partners, its another way to look - and you can meet people away from your local area, even if its just 30 miles!

I managed a 200 mile long distance relationship for 5 years and it wasnt the distance that killed it, it was other people, its how much effort you want to put in
