As a geek who's not had much luck with dating, I have to ask if there are any women out there who go for us.

I'm probably your typical geek.. I work as an IT Technician, spend a lot of time online, and still (rather worryingly) live with my parents

Oh, I forgot to mention I did my Degree in Computer Science too... my blog pretty much sums me up too, plenty of geekdom on there.

in my experience women actually like geeks once they get to know them...

problem is they are not normally likely to get to know them because of social conditioning....

maybe try to develop a small non geekey aspect of your life? it will probably do you good and you will enjoy broardening your horrizons anyway... after all the geek system is just one of the many systems of protecting ourselves from the world...

Erm... Yup I'm abit as geeky as you can get... Love my games/anything else to do with comps.. and my anime.. <_<

But hey I'm proud of it o.O If people can't like me for who I am.. there not worth the time.

Lol I couldn't for awhile... but playing online games just brain washes with all th stuff.. you don't even know your taking it in... But if you ever need a translator for the jibberish just ask me =D

To be honest not everyone that does computing or computer related stuff are Geeks trust me. And i do know some girls that actually really love geeks because there really smart.

I always say there is someone for everyone, what about the geeky women, im sure they would like a geek.
