My ideal first date would be simple coffee nothing fancy, one hour max. That way if either party doesn’t particularly like the other you’ve not wasted too much time, money or effort on a lost cause.

If I phone the girl for a second date (say a concert or theatre) and don’t get a reply that is bubbling with enthusiasm I give up immediately, either they will phone back or it’s a dead end.

assuming ive gotten to girl to actually go on one.

when we first meet id take her to a café and buy her lunch, then sit down and talk ect.

After lunch id get us some coffee (assuming she likes coffee ) then id walk her to wherever she needed to go and wed be talking, getting to know each other a little better... then hopefully arrange a second date

thats me anyways, like iive had alot of expirience lol but thats how my first time would go, or id like it to go something like that
