I'm surprised at where he's gone with the points he made. The initial post, although I disagreed, was one that was possible to argue a point of view from. What's followed, though, has been quite unbelievable. When I called him chicken, I was expecting a more defensible point of view.

Anyway, I said I wasn't going to get involved in this, but I couldn't help throwing another penny's worth of thought into the pot.

i think the question is just little offensive it self. ppl are wat they are, if physical attraction is the center than i think i should leave the forum before i waste more time. sorry but it is my take. even if ur beautiful or handsome how long before the things start to change, it is better to be hated for wat i m then to be loved wat i m not.

Sorry are you saying the original post of do you like fuller figured people is as offensive as what Nighwave has said this evening?

Have I read that right?

I don't know if anyone else feels this way but because of my weight and clothing size, I don't like going out to clubs and dancing. I always feel like people are judging me.

People are always judging people of all sizes, both positively and negatively for all sorts of reasons. It's best not to worry about it. I'm sure that I'm a crap dancer, for example, but I'd not let anyone stop me getting lost in the music and having fun. I like to forget the people around me as best I can, and get on with it. I'm crap at pulling, so I don't bother, although I'll talk to any girl who happens to talk to me first, which doesn't happen often.

I may be completely wrong but sometimes it feels like people wont let me be happy with the way I look. I was discussing clothes with a friend and she told me about somthing another friend of ours had said. Whilst holding up a pair of size 16 jeans, she commented "I don't know how anyone could wear something as big as this".

It's not for anyone else to "allow" you or "give" happiness. There is not one point of view about what makes a person look good, or what is attractive or indeed on almost any subject around such vague terms as happiness, beauty, attractiveness and such like. You need to find a way to do that yourself. Make the best of what you've got, you've got a pretty face for starters if those pictures are recent (I browsed through them) and if you want to lose weight then have a go at doing so, but all the time make sure you're happy with what you're doing. Also, don't forget to look at yourself as the whole person, and not just your height or size or whatever. Remember all your other good points too, smile at people, be happy, do things that make you happy. I'm probably not using the best words here, but I hope you see what I'm getting at. I'm speaking from experience, by the way, for different reasons I had a lot of confidence issues growing up.

And, I don't know if others experience this, but it's hard to find stores that have bigger sizes available in the latest fashions or have very limited stock to choose from.

My ex felt similar. She bought a fair few things online, as well as in the high street. She googled for places using words like plus size/s as well as the type of clothes she was after. She also used ebay as well. Maybe you should give that a go. The web is good for "niche" or seemingly niche markets, in fact it is one thing the web is the *best* for.

I hope I've said at least one useful thing there.
