Just wanted to get a range of opinions, i have been online a while now and it seems very rare for a woman to make the first move online. Is this due to the fact that they are prob outnumbered by 10 to 1 or more to do with old tradional point of views on dating? I know the genuine guys out there a like myself are outnumbered by the married/cheating guys that just want to get laid, but i still find it strange in this day and age that even online some people (not all) seem to be stuck into traditional values. any comments or suggestion are more than welcome

ive sent messages out and sometimes i get replys sometimes i dont..
but i do recieve alot more then i send..
i guess its just hit and miss, just keep trying and dont send the usual "hi" message

I send lots of messages- if I see someone I want to talk to, I message them. I don't have a traditional view on here- I view it as casual and fun. If you are as genuine as you say you are, I am sure you'll get some good responses soon

I was quite surprised at the amount of messages from women. Don't get me wrong, my inbox isn't exactly overflowing with potential admirers, but as us men are supposed to take the initiative in this field it came as a bit of a shock.

They haven't all been of the 'hi' variety either, and the ones who put the effort in have so far been the ones really worth talking to. Which kinda makes sense. Kudos to 'em I say.

Ive found if ppl see something they like they often say something, traditional values dont entirely apply because digital communication negates the amount of self-confidence required in talking to strangers face to face.

saying that if people are looking but passing by its entirely likely they're seeing something that puts them off. Im sure i do better if i liked mainstream movies for instance instead of things like whasango, cashern and arahan.
