I was just wondering if anyone else gets messages from younger errr "boys!" Cos i seem 2 get a load of messages from 16/17/18/ year old boys telling me how hot i am and giving me their msn! I know some people on here just send out a load of messages in the hope of a reply but seriously does a boy that is barely legal really think that a 27 year old is going 2 be interested??

I had this 1 message saying that he earns his own money and would pay 4 everything but the boy was 17 years old! and i dont usually reply but i had 2 saying thanxs but ur far 2 young and im sure there r plenty of girls ur own age that will take u up on ur offer and he replied but i act so much older and could teach u alot..... this from a 17 year old!! i felt like replying if there is anything a 17 year old can "teach me" then ive damn well lived a sheltered life and should hang myself now! lol

I do get that there is a difference with older people 10 years isnt anything but when some1 isnt legal 2 even drink and im turning the wrong side of 30 in a few years there is gunna be a huge difference!!!!

This is just really a rant but i wondered if there is any1 else getting the same type of thing???

I agree with you missjb ............ but as i am sure you aware there are plenty of women and men for that matter who would consider sleeping with girls/guys just for the sake of it, young or old ............. some would say misplaced attention seeking, but i would feel sorry for these people.

Yes i too have received messages from children as well and Liz i am old enough to be there mother, now that is sick ........ Rolling Eyes

Umm well I have myself messaged girls who are a couple of years older, not much older mind. Purely because the age range is quite close but yeah no offence 27 would be pretty far out of my range. My guess is they only want you for an experience because in 10 years time would they still be interested in you?

Think? What do you mean think?
You think he's thinking? Laughing
He WISHES!

BTW - There's no 'wrong side' of 30! Or 40, or even 50.
I haven't decided yet if there's a 'wrong side' of 65!

Ahah! I'm the opposite!

I'm 16 and I get men twenty years older than me sending me messages! But I don't get anyone my age sending them! It's really weird I think because you'd think older men would want to stay as far away from 16 year old girls as possible! I think it's really messed up and me and you should swap hha x

I'm beginning to see a need for a NEW feature on Flirtbox.
You set an age limit for people you want to hear from.
This will automatically re-route messages (and Want like to meets) in terms of age.
Contact from people over or under gets sent to other people who want to contact that age group.
This introduces a random element into the process.
(No, not that 'random'! The other random. Laughing )
And it cuts down on waste. (Especially time! Laughing )
And ensures that...

Damn me! I started this as a joke, but it's beginning to make sense to me.
Maybe it's just because it has turned midnight and my brain has flipped?

hmm, which is the lesser of two evils?..probably being on here.

The way things have changed! When I was a teenager, me and my mates drank cider in the park...but girls would never do it. Not saying its a reflection on the girls now, just the way things have changed,

But in my day the only place you could get booze was either in the pub or the off license..and it wasnt easy.

Ha - missjb, I know exactly how you feel, I have the same thing (though it seems to be 22-25 for me). I have found that as I get older I seem to attract younger men and wonder if it's because men my own age a) are already settled b) are frightened to death of being 'trapped' by a women who at some point in the not too distant future might want to settle down! Younger men don't seem to have quite the same fear (yet!) Smile I know a lot of attractive, clever, successful single women around my age - but very few guys who would be their match. Perhaps that is a bigger questions to put to the floor... Where are they all - at home on their X-boxes perhaps?! Wink Rx.

Older women complain young men message them, and younger women complain older men message them...all for sex apparently. Maybe men inbetween have sexual problems??

Maybe women only complain about unwanted messages??
