That horrible feeling when youve lost something, what did you lose and what were the consequences?

I've only just thought about this because I've temporarily LOST SOMETHING, like it has to be at home somewhere, as it's an unfinished painting 20'' x 16'' and I can't find it anywhere.
At first I didn't bother to look for it as I thought it'd just been hidden, but now 3 weeks later and I've been moving things and it's not showed up I'm BAFFLED plus an A2 sized drawing has vanished around the same time, although I think that was rolled up..... still odd though.

i got a nasty habit of losing my dignity when im on a dancefloor - does that count? the result normally is that the girl ive been chatting to all night takes one look and heads the other way Laughing

Yeah, that counts haha!!

My mate was the first one on the dance floor at a night club, and all her white underwear pulsated brilliant white under the ultra-violet lighting haha!! after the initial shock she spent the rest of the evening dancing in the shadows.

It's ok I'll have masses of my own in a couple of weeks so long as the birds don't strip it bare overnight.

I've lost a small photo album with about 20 or so pictures of me and my sister taken when she was pregnant with her first child about 15 years ago. I've looked everywhere and I know it's not in the house anywhere. I'm really upset I can.t find it.

Aww that's the sad side of losing things. I hope it still returns to you sometime in the future.

I worked in an institution for years and lost a photo album that turned up 6yrs later. I also lost an earring there for a few years too but one day somebody found it and thought it was something I might have liked not knowing it was actually mine anyway. So don't give up hope.

Might be hard, not knowing what it looks like......

I found the picture I lost.... silly me... it was exactly where I first thought it was..... except I obviously didn't look properly.
