I dont mind either, or even bald.
My ex-husband had long hair in a ponytail when I met him, now its nearly all gone and very very short whats left, and he still looks handsome. (we are just friends now though).
My youngest lad had his nearly shaved off and it suits him, my older lad has hair down past his shoulders (and big beard) and that suits him too.
The last guy I was in a relationship has a very conventional "short back and sides" cut and to be honest, i preferred it when he left it go a bit wild.

Personally I don't mind what the length of a guys hair is, or even if they have no hair at all!...
But I must admit I do like dreadlocks or the tight to the scalp styles that some black men do have!
(I don't mean this in a racist way, as I'm not like that. So no offense meant.)
And the only white man that's ever looked good in "dreads" (imho) is Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow!!! Phwoooaaar!!!... Ahem!
