A rather downbeat start but ok....

We have 2 Lidls in Maidstone!

Things I like-

the chocolate
the salami/chorizo
the ravioli
the penne pasta
the tools
the pens and pads
the vodka
the brie

Well I guess the Lidl bosses were fans of George Orwell.

Our aldi is currently being built - should be ready next summer. Starting to think this town is a bit cheap...

I live in a town that doesn't have an Asda, only Waitrose and Sainsburys in the town centre and Tescos relegated to the edges. This place is far too posh for the likes of Lidl or Aldi.

Got everything from Lidl to Marks & Spencers.

I don't find either Lidl or Aldi necessarily the cheapest these days but I love their biscuits, and their christmas goodies selection beats M&S any day.
