Are we all prone to bouts of it?
Is there anybody who can say they are free of hypocrisy?
should we all be celebrating our hypocrisy?

There's not a man or women that's lived that hasn't been hypocritical...and the great and good are steeped in hypocrisy. But its like lies, there's good and bad, and sometimes its harmless, and in some cases for the good.
Example: Good parenting is probably full of hypocrisy |
Like saying....I wont make all the mistakes my parents made raising me, then shouting at your kids all the time and ignoring them? lol

If people accept that human nature has hypocrisy embedded into it are we really able to call other people hypocrites for something that we don't consider ourselves as doing/saying/whatever? Or would that be hypocritical?
Would we just be calling someone a hypocrite in order to make ourselves feel better about ourselves, or because we think that person could benefit from being called a hypocrite?

As with most problems people fundamentally face - hypocrisy is just a testimony to the invariable downfalls of the use of language. |
A bit like that paragraph you have written...its just language. Boring as marry.

Human nature is a difficult thing to talk about - although I think I take the context it's meant in. As long as you don't think people are inherently incapable of going against their own views or standpoints. Clearly we'd live in a horrible world if that were the case. Everything has potential, luckily - the extent to which this can be actualised is very complex. |
Just more bullshitty language then....

I could go on about this for ages - I will spare you the boredom. |
Thank marry for that, I was losing the will to live for a while reading all this language.
numbeuphoria wrote: |
What we believe is really just an amalgamation of inerpretations (expressed and consciously processed via language) of the things we have learned and agreed or disagreed with. Hence, if you wish to measure a persons sincerity - you can only look at their actions, how they've lived their life, what they contribute, what has happened -to- them etc. If you actually 'listen' to the words people say you are only really obtaining an ideal of what that person wishes to convey - not necessarily the ways prior circumstance causes their subconsicous to react to situations when they actually happen. |
There's that word language again. You like that word don't you?

Hypocrisy, I am sure, is largely unintentional and quite harmless really. It shows a certain optimism and desire for progression which I think can only be good. |
The German Nazi party had ideals which may be seen as hypocritical, yet I would hardly call that unintentional or harmless. Would you? Although having said that, hypocrisy is largely down to ignorance, but not in all cases.

Not really, more just like a smarmy cunt who is full of language and not much else.
