Can somebody tell me, besides waving a cheap £2 st georges flag and wearing an England football shirt, what does it actually mean to be English these days?

What actually constitutes as culture and how much of it is actually English? Is it considered patriotic to watch Eastenders? Somebody needs to define what it means to be English because I am not quite seeing it to be honest. What makes you so English?
