see i dont get that .. we dont talk swahili just a bit fast .. but u can understand what were saying Wink

Geordies are the same..A geordie started working in the same place I worked few yeras ago [about 30 as it happens Mad ], and I felt sorry for him because no one could understand hi...He didnt stay there long.

i work with a geordie girl and it took me a couple of days to catch onto what she was saying and everything was fine, then she went home for 2 weeks and called me while she was away and i couldnt understand a word of what she was saying and was even worse by the time she got back to glasgow

This guy would sit there at tea breaks while we were chatting, then he'd say something, and we all looked at him thinking 'what the f**** did he say'. but we were to embarrassed to ask him. It was very uneasy for him. We all felt sorry for him. He left after a couple weeks.

No doubt about it..we were all only about 18-19 [young and immature men before Laura says something Wink]. He was only there a couple of weeks, if he had stayed longer possibly it would have got sorted out..

yup happens all the time - its horrible when you try to rant to someone who isnt scottish as they just look at you with a blank expression cos you've just ranted 5 mins worth of a rant into 2 mins and you lost them at the end of the first sentence

I remember the first time he went on a major rant. He was talking about bad drivers.........I lost him after about 15 seconds. I just stood there looking as if to say 'what the f*** did you just say?'

I'm funny when I start ranting. I start off ranting in English, then switch to Latvian....
