Sometimes, despite what we say on our profile, we attract all kinds of people to message, meet or see as regular visitors to our profiles.

So, I was wondering if there was a 'type' that you seem to attract.......

also, when you arrange meet ups and have a few dates, does it seem that you have attracted a particular 'type' of person

Examples about some single people I know, attract the following:-

*men/women who turn aggressive after a couple of drinks
*men/women who have a short fuse and hit men/women
*unreliable and disrespectful men/woman
*men/women who can't commit to a serious relationship
*men/women who have fabricated a whole fake life
*men/women who are looking for a 'free ride'

Noone haha! Doesnt seem as if many people reply to mails here. Either that or Im doing it wrong

I can honestly say that everyone I have met through this site has been completely different to each other, and none of them conformed to 'type' (or typical preferences that I might or might not have).

The other side of the coin is that on another site I used to use for over a year, I did indeed seem to attract a 'type' for quite some time (and no, they weren't all desperate ), although it might have had something to do with the outrageous sexual innuendo in my profile.

I have not met anyone off this site but that may change in the future. Have met a few others off other sites though and they have been real nice. I have met a few off myspace and a canoe forum I use.

Mail is often from abroad or out of town, peeps are usually nice arty/brunettes (my unspecified type) - which is cool; so usually exchange a few mails.

No spamers or sex requests lol

Never had any initial mail from locals here in Edinburgh. Suppose the rules of engagement are different, when the motives are and the possiblity of meeting is more realistic.

but site's a good distraction from work.

Met a couple of here and all have been nice guys, some alot nicer than others though ........

Did meet a guy once that really didn;t want to but didn't want to stand him up so went along anyway, he turned into a stalker, so will go with my instincts from now on

Not really looking at the mo though, but surely you only attract people who you are attracted too ??? I do have a certain 'type' that i am attracted too and you all know what type that is .........

The type of people i get messages from are Pervs, Boys, People looking for a visa, boring men, men who want my msn and always who offer to show me there willies .......... so hence why i dont pursue many internet dates anymore .......

But if there are any tallish guys, with dark hair, who are sarcastic and know how to enjoy themselves, then feel free
