At a date loads of people meet up in a place. Where as at a date only two people meet up who have pre-arranged it between themselves. Meets are a good way to meet people from this site rather than just browsing profiles and contacting people and then corresponding online. You are more likely to get a date with someone if you come to the large group meets.

You should treat a meet then as any other night out but one where you have some mates along too. Going to internet forum meet ups remind me of when I first started going out for nights out when I was 18. I lived in Staffordshire in a smallish urban area of about 350,000 people so when out around the city centre pubs bumped into loads of people I knew so was never alone on a night out. That was something I missed when I moved to London as London is so big and anonamous.

May i suggest that in your long winded comments, that you give people the choice to act upon you suggestion or not, not that they SHOULD do it this way or its wrong. Thats one of the things your doing wrong. By assuming your way is the right way. Have some leniancy in opinion.
