What do you do if you meet new women, and when you have your first proper conversation over a drink together, these women all turn out to know your ex girlfriend, and come out with, oh you're the creep she's told me all about?? It's happened three times recently.

lol i know quite a few guys ex's but i never take what people say as gospel i always have to find out the hard way whther good or bad at least i know for myself

When I used to live in North Staffordshire the urban area I lived in was about 350,000 yet you still kept bumping into the same people time and time again. In a way it was good because I could go into any city centre pub and know at least two or three people in there. I was also forever bumping into mates and old mates I hadn't seen for years in the street. Now I live in London it seems so lonley, big and impersonal.
