I have recently wondered, can your 'taste' in partners change ?

Example..

The ladies that catch my eye are normally Brunettes with bright blue or green eyes.. but just lately i've been noticing redheads and blondes a lot more than brunettes..

At one point, i used to see blondes like they were grass, i knew it was there but never paid any attention to it !

T'is very strange and intruiging..

Can change yes.

I used to only really go for slim women, and wasnt really interested in larger women. But now I do get turned on by larger ladies. Still like slim ladies though Smile

When you say 'taste' ......... your just referring to looks ????

Well my 'taste' as far as looks is concerned i have always gone for dark hair, blue/green eyes, and normal kind of build, rough around the edges, but they have to have a very sarcastic side to them Razz

I spent 8 years with my ex husband because i went for the 'good looking one', arrogant thought he was gods gift etc, and apart from having my daughter, wasted 8 years of my life ........ i have stuck with what i am use to since then Laughing

Well I think I still 'go for' exactly the same type of guys now as I did when I was younger, but I don't exclude anyone who doesn't fit into 'the mould' either, just that I have a preference.
Now and again I'll be attracted by a look that I normally wouldn't have gone for, but it just widens my choice and isn't instead of the others.
Razz

I cant say I have a physical type, I have dated many shapes sizes and colours really, there is something special and unique in the physical attraction of all of them. I think I do tend to fall for a type of mindset though, or a personality type. I tend to go for women who are a bit more tomboyish, although still very feminine and sensitive, a bit alternative & articulate, not following in the herd like a lost lamb, thinks for herself. A woman who would find fun, romance and adventure in a wild camping weekend and not have a panic attack about it because she just spent £100 on having her nails done.
They are out there!

I usually like small petite girls who are quite shy but never seemed to date anyone like that at all, I guess I don't have a taste, any individual can catch my eye.

My taste in wimmin is chocolate flavoured. I quite like strawberry too. A subtle hint of perspiration is also very endearing.

Physically, as many of you will know, I like colourful, waifish bags of bones, with long unkempt hair (or short spikey hair) and itsy bitsy breasts.

Ironically, all my recent girlfriends have been statuesque and robust maidens, so there goes any theory that anyone might be contemplating on the subject of taste – it all goes out the window if the ‘right’ person comes along.

Hmm well i like older men, i dunno whether thats bad or not, i just find lads my age not that interesting, sense of humour is MOST important in a guy, if a guy can make me laugh then they've one me over, also talk dark and cute haha not bothered about handsome coz thats not very realistic.

I think the problem here is the very notion of taste - as you must know because you have entered the word in quotes.

Perhaps people have an aesthetic ideal or there are features they find particularly alluring but I don't see any reason why this is the only thing that should remain constant in a person's life.

I certainly don't react the same, or have the same mindset to that which I had even five years ago (granted I was 15, but I think it's a fair assumption) and this goes for anyone I've ever met. People develop and change all the time - it just stops life getting dull I guess...

ok so i feel this is kind of relevant to this post, rather than creating a new thread..

Facial features..

This is totally weird, but for some unknown reason i have started noticing them - a lot !

One a different forum i use, another member posted up a picture of an absolutely gorgeous woman, wearing next to f**k all, leaving very little to the imagination and yup... you guessed it, i'm sitting there looking at her ears & nose, they just didn't look right and i have no idea why i even looked at them !! Laughing

I have also noticed that eye colour is currently what seems to 'pull' me towards looking at pictures.. if "she" has bright blue or green eyes, i just find myself drawn to them, no matter what "she" looks like.

I just thought i'd share that with you folks and get your silly comments and replies on the subject Laughing oh and FYI - i'm not on drugs Laughing

One feature that I love on a guy is the shape of his face but that's not quite it... I'm really attracted to men who have a dimple on their chin!! I didn't realise that for years either.
