Doesnt surprise me, they did the same about this time last year. But it wouldn't surprise me if they came down a bit more as well. Can't see them going up much in the near future. Probably level out a bit fr a while, just my oppinion obviously, will be interesting to see what happens..

yup does not surprise me at all im 5 miles from windsor, hense the reason i have to rent as i would need at least 20k deposit for a 1 bed flat or 30k for a 2 bed which i need
14.04.2007, 23:24 quote
30k on a bank account is worth 130 pounds per month...on a savings account with 5,5%
Then think about how much interests you would pay on the mortgage.....and then compare it to how much your rent would be.
Also think about money you need to put into a house or flat ..repairs etc....
If you get a mortgage for about 120k you end up paying about 600 quid per month purely for interests...and you loose 130 pounds per month.
For 730 pounds you can also rent something...or even a lot less!

i looked into buying a place about a year ago and he best quote i got was a 2 bed flat mortgage was about £800 per month. which i can not afford on my own. so ill stick to paying £400 to the council
