Here is an example for 2 houses that you get for free:
The best thing: You do not only get them for free - you even receive 50,000 Euros per house if you knock them down.
The only thing is: you are required to build a new house afterwards.

Hmmm.....E100k = about £70k, which i reckon would buy a self-build scandinavian flatpack house or some kind of modular thingy....

You need to dismantle the houses first though .....but this should be a little bit less then 100,000 Euros.
You can get one of those energy-efficient houses from about 50,000 pounds onwards....

And your heating costs will also be a fraction of what they used to be (no heating necessary - they have heat-exchangers).
The even guarantuee you that if you pay higher bills on heating then for a different house, you get your money back.
Scandinavian houses are quite cheap - but they are not very advanced and waste lots of energy.

I am just watching something on TV about a family that bought a house from Finnland....which also seems to be very energy efficient. It only takes 48 hours to set it up...and it is quiet huge.
