I have just spend 6 years in the land of the ice and snow where the midnight sun and the hot springs boil....or commonly known thank you led zepplin as Iceland. Upon my return to the land of the smog and oil I discovered that house prices had gone through the roof, which makes it impossible for anyone on a low income...such as myself to get anywhere in life...is this part of labours lets make the rich exclusive policy, or am i just looking in the wrong place, cause every house i see is above 100,000!

Just rent something and invest somewhere else!

It is like buying stocks....if everyone buys them it might be the right time to sell. Ok. not quite like stocks as they can't loose all its value....

But Norways houseprices mutiplied by 100% the last years.....you would have made a bigger profit there.

But in general I think people should not buy and sell houses just to make money...it only artificially makes them more expensive and does not help anyone....everyone is worse off in the long-term by property investors.
