well, i have been shaving down there for a few years now ( im 18 ), my ex definitely appreciated it for the ~ 2.5 years we were having sex. but i basically stopped at the base of my penis. i havnt exactly been searching for advice on this topic, but i have casually read some posts about men shaving down there, and it raised a question in my mind.

i could never shave my sack. i cant even trust myself with a blade down there. everyone makes mistakes while shaving once in a while, and i DO NOT want that mistake to have to happen to the family jewels. so when a woman says yea i want your balls shaved does she mean that literally or does she just use that term to referencec the area? like i said, i shave everything off but the hair that actually comes out of my sack. those hairs i just trim.

I once knew a guy who shaved his dangley bits. Got an impacted hair that went nasty and had to have it dealt with under the surgeon's knife with Local anesthetic. While operating, the surgeon told him, "Never shave your plums again!"
"My plums?" he asked. "They will be tomorrow..." came the reply!
And they were.

My advice to all you guys:
NEVER shave your dangley bits!!! Surprised

I had a shave down below once because my friend told me it would really itch when it started to grow back.

He was right Rolling Eyes

Well I was thinking about mentioning that Ed.
I know this from having a very delicate part of my anatomy shaved (where a lot of women do this willingly I might add) as I had stitches after giving birth. The itching was a nightmare! Embarassed

well most people when shaving in other areas shave against the direction of hair growth because it gives a smother finish

if you shave in the same direction of the hair growth it tends not to itch. takes abit longer to get a smooth finish tho but is worth it as it also seems to grow back less stubbly (stubble rash on your nose is not a good look)
