The most famous person I've met, which was only briefly as he came to watch a film in the cinema I worked in, was Tom Hanks. I had longer conversations with people less well known, but I'd be damned if I knew their names. I was told at the time by them or someone else.

Least you had an excuse. I showed Baddiel and Skinner to their seats when they saw Boggie Nights, and never realised until a bit later when a friend of time told me Sad Dunno what I'd have said, but anyway. This was around the time they were uber cool (they still are, kinda) and 3 lions (world cup version) was relatively fresh in everyone's mind.

Also met radio one DJ Dave Lee Travis...and of course loads of Spurs players over the years. Said hello once to boxing legend John Conti once in a car park in Hatfield. I saw Emmanuel Beard on a trip to Marseilles she was so beautiful I even gasped. Does that count or are we only talking talentless American celebs. I also saw Margaret Thatcher once but couldnt find a brick shame.
