Went to the V festival on sunday - was my first gig. Good day out, apart from the tossers who pee in a beer cup, then lob it into the air...

I saw Editors perform at the Corn Exchange, Edinburgh last monday. They were just brilliant, and the two new songs they did were great too. Very Happy

Ive been to loads, but my favorite gig is always The beautiful south, but youve got to be standing to get the most out of it, ive never understood sitting at a concert, this band can really sing and know how to party, their outdoor forest tour last was awesome, i hope they do more outdoor night time gigs in the future. if you havent seem them live i can definatly recommend them.

We had the 'Beached' festival here a few weeks ago loads of little bands and a few rising stars.,The Sunday headliner was some guy out of Shed Seven with his new band but they were by far outclassed by the Fratellis who played the day before.

Went to see The Who at the SECC {before John Entwistle died} never drop a beat - then again years ago they probably thought - 'right lad's better get this together 'cause Johnny's coming to see us in 35 yrs time!!

Only draw back {apart from the sec not being the best venue in the world -more like a big aircraft hanger} was that I wanted to come away with my ears ringing and bleeding for day but band member Tinitus put paid to that.

Legends none the less

Just got back from Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. Noones probably heard of them but they were absolutely fantastic!

I've seen a few but not that many..

Bruce Springsteen (solo, with E Street and with Seeger Sessions)
Nils Lofgren (solo and with buck brown)
Tom Paxton
Beastie Boys
Meat Loaf
Bon Jovi
Nickleback
Idlewild
Bonnie Raitt
Jackson Browne (solo and with band)
U2

I want to get to more gigs with smaller bands but none of my mates are into that kind of thing unfortunately :/
