Metallica and Dragonforce were the best of the lot IMO. Cool

And I'm going to see Motorhead and Therapy? in Dublin tomorrow night.

Were dragonforce good? I'm going to see them next month.

I used to go to a lot of gigs 20 years ago when I was a punk. Punk gigs mostly used to take place in smallish venues usually with a disco in between the bands so it was more like a club night. Because of the small intimate nature of the venues, which were often large pubs they were good places to pull and also to make friends. I made loads of friends in the punk scene. But unfortunatly didn't pull any girls. At the time punk girls had a reputation for being slappers.

Only ever been to see one band, Hawkwind I think it was about 1986 "Live Chronicles album" at sheffield, but its a bit difficult to pin down the year. If you know Hawkwind I'm sure you can guess why I have trouble remembering, but it was a great show.
