Ok my favourite song, would have to be ANOTHER GIRL< ANOTHER PLANET, by the ONLY ONES.
Found it on a random compilation tape someone gave me years ago and the guitar in it blew me away. It is not a famous song, comes from the 70's and the band were a studio band.
When i was at college and vice president of the union i managed to find a copy and put it on the jukebox, I must have played it constantly for the first two weeks, and pretty soon a lot of other people started to love it, by the end of the year it was the most played song on the jukebox, which impressed me.
If you like guitar music, rock music, maybe you should try and find a copy of this song it is impressive

ok try this website
www.pandora.com
basically its an online site where you type in a song or aartist and it will play stuff by them and similar stuff.
I just went to it typed in create new station, then typed in, ANOTHER GIRL ANOTHER PLANET, and it creates a station of similar songs,
you can skip through them until you get to that one but it will play it.
Perhaps you should try it, and let me know what you think?
PLus try and listen to eddie rabbits, i love a rainy night, thats another one of my favourites

lol
it is a great website
i first heard of it cause it was in the top 50 websites in FHM
The only annoying thing is you can only skip through a certain amount of songs each hour. lol

im sure you will get there soon.
so in the meantime what do you think about this whole oasis being like the beatles then?
Am i the only person that doesnt really see it?
04.06.2006, 10:35 quote
I can see why people would say that.
But they really are nothing alike. Ok, so they both have good music, are popular, and have the rock vibe going on...but they are not alike at all.

personally i would say if you were gooing to compare bands from the 90's to ones in the 60's i would say,
Blur = beatles, their music changed through the years
Oasis = kinks, played the rock stuff good, and both have brothers,
U2 = the Who, stadium packing rock
