Ok, so there are about 4 rockers on here. Are there any people into cult black metal, dark ambient, Japanese Noise, Death Industrial, doom, neo-classical or grindcore..................?

He he! Don't worry yourself. They're all obscure genres not many people listen to. Most would collectively term it s**te but I like it. Went to a gig a few months back in Manchester. There were 50 people including the bands and bar staff. Class!

Here's a good site if you want to try out a little Black Metal:

http://www.blackmetalradio.com/

Burzum
Nachtmystium
Anaal Nathrakh
Blut Aus Nord
Deathspell Omega

Japanese Noise:
Merzbow
Masonna

Dark Ambient:
Raison D'etre
Kammerheit

Neo-classical:
Elend
Arcana

Death Industrial:
Kriegsfall-U
Von Thronstahl

Grindcore:
Nasum
Napalm Death

Hope that covers a few for ya!!

That does help, thanks.

I've heard of Mayhem and Enslaved...

Cool - I love Enslaved! Yeah black metal's got pretty big now, so it's created a bit of of a divide. Lots of the underground BM bands refer to themselves as kult or true black metal now as they are disgusted by bands that sell more than 1000 records. Until, that is, they find themselves having to live off their own dead skin for nourishment or doing a shelf stacking job in Tescos. Then the catchy choruses arrive.

I like most music though - as long as it's got integrity - and sounds great.
