Come on, who here likes the Manic Street Preachers?

Does anybody have any opinions on their new album?

Good to see a fellow believer on here! Spent Saturday afternoon listening to a bootleg of the Cambridge Junction show from October 1992(well wort trying to find, great old-school performance).



Journal For Plague Lovers is great, do some really interesting stuff with source lyrics which it couldn't have been easy to write music for (for obvious reasons). What are your faves, from that album or others?

I'm a fan but don't have any albums (spotify, ain't it great?). Check out their version of Umbrella, totally make it their own, amazing.

J'adore Manics! It took a bit for "Journal for Plague Lovers" to grow on me, but now I love it. Makes me a bit sad that it's the last of Richey's lyrics, but per usual Manic Street Preachers did amazing with them.

Just to brag, I am seeing them live in September!
