There are so many bands I wish I had seen but were alas before my time or before I was educated enough to enjoy their music:
Joy Division
Led Zepplin
Nivarana
Sex Pistols
What classic bands and era do you wish you could have been at a gig for, do you think bands reforming is a good thing (though it is not always possible through the death of various band members)?
12.06.2006, 22:11 quote
The Clash, Nirvana, Queen, the jam, bob marley, John Lennon/the beatles, Eva Cassidy...and finally...i agree...sex pistols.

I think we all pretty much agree on the classic bands then.
People saying Pink Floyd - What era? are we talking Syd Barret or the gilmour/waters era.

Not many bands are that good live.

You must be watching the wrong bands
Terrorvision were (to say the least) not very good musically but excellent live. Obv they are not legend status but just an example of a fun band
