What classic bands and era do you wish you could have been at a gig for, do you think bands reforming is a good thing (though it is not always possible through the death of various band members)?

The Clash, Nirvana, Queen, the jam, bob marley, John Lennon/the beatles, Eva Cassidy...and finally...i agree...love pistols.

I think we all pretty much agree on the classic bands then.

People saying Pink Floyd - What era? are we talking Syd Barret or the gilmour/waters era.

Well, i think we all agree on Nirvana

Nirvana - had tickets to go see them, 2 days after they come thru the post kurt cobain killed himself, was at college at the time, the lad who booked the tickets sent them back cos he wanted his money...wonder how much those would be worth now.

I notice Jeff Buckley didn't get a mention! Or Smashing Pumpkins! (Although word on the street is they're back together, so happy days...) But yeah, like everyone else, Nirvana and The Doors

beatles, led zepplin, queen(freddie mercury to be exact), seen most of the others

I've seen queen without freddie of course. I would have loved to see the Beatles.
The worst person I've seen live is Nelly Furtado...she can't sing!!

led zep, can, jimi hendrix, early floyd (ufo club days), tangerine dream, spacemen 3 (I've seen spiritualized loads of time), the smiths, ..can't think of any more at the mo but will return with more no doubt.
