usually i listen to rock or trance, but i started getting into rap / hiphop lately

any1 know of any decent sounding artists?? looking for more hardcore sounding stuff, no fairy kanye west singers pls ;P

thanks Smile and to be honest, i wasnt into rap either but after listening to rock / trance for so long it gets boring, looking for somethin new Surprised

I listen to pretty much anything....I have to be in the right mood for rap. Plus i'm forced to listen to it daily at college due to the idiots in my class!

btw to get back to your question andyoe, try checking out rappers from the 80s such as Public Enemy and NWA. that should be what you're looking for.

i would suggest KRSONE, Onyx, Notorious B.I.G, Geto Boys, Ice Cube, Wu Tang and of course a bit of tupac. havent mentioned any of the well known new rappers like 50 cent, cos they just immatators of the above people in my opinion.

could not agree with you more. there's something very fundamentally wrong about today's rappers. it's all about the bling, big cars, and BRAGGING about being shot ??!! btw have you seen a movie called Tupac: resurection? EXCELLENT movie!
