usually i listen to rock or trance, but i started getting into rap / hiphop lately

btw to get back to your question andyoe, try checking out rappers from the 80s such as Public Enemy and NWA. that should be what you're looking for.

i would suggest KRSONE, Onyx, Notorious B.I.G, Geto Boys, Ice Cube, Wu Tang and of course a bit of tupac. havent mentioned any of the well known new rappers like 50 cent, cos they just immatators of the above people in my opinion.
