^^I suppose they would've put a bit of weight on since the 70's..lol, I would've been 20 so could in theory have gone to see them..damn! mispent youth an all that..are they still producing anything? gong i would like to have seen live & taped a live show of theirs one night back in the early 90's, it was was well..pretty psychedelic to say the least, one song in particular about making (ahem Wink ) a certain tea. I think i have seen on a flyer for a festival that the ozric tentacles were playing somewhere & it was last year,. Also like to have seen neu & captain beefheart, now that bloke was out there & he knew a thing or two about music structure, time signatures and all that.

Does seeing babyshambles and dirty pretty things count as seeing the libertines. I think I should be able to say this on a technicality! lol

Hm...if they were doing a joint gig, it would be ok to say you have seen the libertines. But seperately..i'm not so sure!

Saw Queen in 1986 at Knebworth (still have the T-shirt too). Totally and completely excellent. Thinking about the silence of hundreds of thousands of people as Freddie played the first notes of Bo Rap still sends shivers down my spine today.

I saw them the same year in Newcastle. Awesome!!! Cool

I was lucky enough to see The Jam 16 times as a kid. They were fantastic, and the great thing about Paul Weller was he would let you come to the soundcheck in the afternoon to listen, and have a chat afterwards.
Happy days Very Happy

Lucky!

I was born in 1987, so I missed most of the great bands Sad
