Should be getting some of the later Emperor stuff soon. Isahn's solo stuff is slighltly slower, with better production and has some good vocal parts (as well as his BM vocals). I suppose similar kind of changes that Opeth have (without so much 70's prog rock).

Tool are the main group I go back to, but I've just started listening to Isis as well. Other than that its Stout and Six ft Ditch that rotate on my stereo.

Chewy - I love Tool too and Isis. Neurosis and Cult of Luna are worth checking if you like Isis. Opeth are my fave band tho I'd say. Not heard of Stout and Sx Ft Dtch tho! Will have to seek those out. Other bands I'd recommend that you might like in Opeth/Emperor vein are Novembre, Katatonia, Melechesh and Anaal Nathrakh.

I still don't know what I'm going to end up doing tomorrow (other than drinking of course). My original plans have fallen through.

Stout and Six ft Ditch are hardcore groups like Hatebreed, but have a sense of humour.

Ah, thought they sounded hardcore. I like mainly Madball, Sick of it all and Unsane from that side of the fence. Need a bit of educating really in that sort of stuff!

Knuckledust are the biggest group from the UK scene. Wisdom in Chains are a good US group.

I'm gonna get some shut eye, so I can get some stuff done before I start drinking tomorrow!
