there's a brill documentary on Heavy Metal called Metal: A Headbanger's Journey. the guy who made it traces the "family tree" of metal from it's beginnings to the present. well worth a look.

Yeah, it was a cool night. Bit random. Convinced a mate he had to stay out but he's got to be up at 7.30am to drive his lass up to some cottage in Northumbria and then meet her best mates etc. He's so dumped. Quality!
