| Post subject: why cant madonna/kylie just give up with music? |
|
|
im sick of the pair of them.
madonna stil thinks she is innovative - news for u madge collaberating wi timbaland would have been innovative ten years ago but not now.
kylie still plugging same records and videos she was releasing at start of century.
time to move on and let people appreciate real female talent - beverley knight/duffy/estelle
what do you guys think? |

I think you have put your opinion across very well, but somehow doubt either ladies will take any notice of you, nor will their record producers cuz whether you like 'em or not, their music still puts the pennies in their banks.
(personally, I shall still be enjoying both their music til I am carried off in my pine box, but then I still like Perry Como and Cliff Richard, so who am I to say?). |

"time to move on and let people appreciate real female talent - beverley knight/duffy/estelle"
I don't get it - what's stopping you appreciating these other ladies' music? You dont have to listen to, or buy, madonna's or kylie's if you dont want to.
Why should they 'move on'? I've never heard of beverley knight or duffy, and dont really know or like estelle. But i like madonna and kylie.
Isn't there room in this world for all kinds of music, not just the kind you personally like? |

I was never a real Cliff fan, but I loved going to the pictures when I was growing up, and I think the last film they ever showed in the cinema before pulling it down was Cliff Richard and the Shadows in "Summer Holiday"
As for Kylie and Madonna, well I think they appeal to a wide audience and whether one likes them or not, they are both real Entertainers and that's why so many people love them. Personally I can take them or leave them however, my very favourite pop video of all time is Madonna singing Frozen, I just love it! |

Well. I can't stand Kylie. But everytime I put the radio or tv on..she's bloody there.
And I'm getting sick of seeing madonna prancing around like a teenager in next to nothing.
I did use to like madonna, the last song I liked of hers was Frozen.
I would happily not listen to either of them - but if they are constantly on the tv or radio, you can't exactly help it! _________________ Laura
