recently went to see Leafcutter John in an art gallery in leicester.
randomly, some girl fainted, people at the back of the room started shouting some crazy things about tundra or something and Leafcutter John was incredibly good,

On Saturday I saw legenday 70s brit funk band Cymande. They only did three tracks as part of an ensemble but they were wicked.

Last major artist gig was Iron Maiden at the CIA in Cardiff on the "A Matter Of Life And Death" tour in December 2006. And I found it disappointing, they played the whole album in order taking up the first 80 minutes. And nowhere near enough classics that people really want to hear and the sound was awful.

[I'm a sound technician so I can't enjoy many gigs because I'm always analysing the sound. Sad ]

But the best band I have seen recently was Pitchblend @ my workplace. A band that should be playing the big stage, not to a handful of people in a 250 capacity venue.

First and foremost; Buddy Guy, The guy is ace, and without him Hendrix and Clapton would have quite likely been very different. It was an education!

Newton Faulkner; Great entertainer. Ok it was a small gig in University of Liverpool but he was very good with the crowd and his guitar.
