None of those sound very heavy to me. Grindcore, doom, black metal and death metal are what I call heavy.

Guys..what is heavy metal to you?? I mean i see some of jimi hendrix's stuff as heavy metal.

im into megadeth,pantera,b.l.s, dream evil etc....and my own music sounds like a mixture of these. i try to get a feel for each players solo style and make it my own....with much painstaking effort and time.

that to me is heavy metal...fuck....i would even class some cream as metal!

the stuff being churned out nowadays in the dropped tuning, play with one finger, leave out the solo's stuff gets on my tits...its heavy but it aint metal as far as im concerned.

solo's are the key to metal in my head...and i mean real solo's..not a few notes on one string,i mean sweeps,tapping, hell just articulation in general would be good!!

well thats my bit+a bit of an unexpected rant...your guys opinions??
