What was every1's favourite school disco tracks?
I loved dancing to the boo radleys and ini kamoze.
i also remember whenever boyzone and take that were played all the lads ran into the bathroom covering their ears.thank god we stop that and mature as we grow older(although i still do it when 500 miles is on)

Boyzone? School? Good grief, now I feel old!
The track we all used to go round singing when I was at school (when Noah was building his Ark!) to this day I dont know what it was called or who by but it went "That's the way - aha aha - I like it - aha aha".....also The Bay City Rollers, Showaddywaddy, Sex Pistols, Sham69, Plastic Bertram......yeah I do feel old now cuz I still like them!

Hhhhmmm, it's surely way past my bed time, someone my age
My mum gave my son one of my old tapes for a party when he was 18 - I nearly died of embarrassment...........Andrew Gold, Boney M, Village People.........mind you, I still actually like some of them - but it was rather cringeworthy to be reminded what I used to sit by the radio with my tape recorder telling everyone to be quiet while I taped the Hit Parade.....I mean the Top 40.........do they stilll have that?
To be fair, some bands back then were - and are - timeless - like the Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols, Elvis, ELO, even Ozzie Ozborne, Ritchie Blackmore......

And didn't you just hate it when Peter Powell or the Hairy Cornflake or whoever talked through the intro and started talking before the end of the song? I never got a complete track, it was ssssoooo annoying!

We only had school discos when I was at Primary....and they were forgettable! Boys on one side and the girls on the other, no-one dancing and 60s songs being played.....punk or new wave was a no-no!!
Favourite tracks?! None!

We had 1 disco in the entire time I was at senior school. I don't know why...probably because most of the staff were lazy bastards. ![]()

U were so lucky Macca, I was at all-girls schools so 'disco night' was just us girls!
Now, the leavers Ball was another matter, my school invited some Upper Class Nobs - sorry I mean "very nice young men from a nearby private school".......and it was a case of stand on opposite sides of the room giggling at them - they wore their school uniforms for goodness sake and all spoke with plums in their mouths - bless 'em they were just as socially inept and geeky around us girls.....as for the music, hhhhmmmm Cliff Richard, Andy Williams.........Great it was........not.
