15.04.2008, 01:07 quote
I spent my 18th birthday at Glastonbury 1986. Bloke said to me "Do you wanna buy some coke?" And I replied "No thanks, I've got 2 bottles of 7-Up in my car"........I only sussed what he meant about 10 years later!
Still clueless
PS They had the flippin Wurzels (one of my favorite bands actually!!) one year, so why not hip-hop?!

Glasto is a rock concert, loads of hippies, metallers, goths, emos etc, i couldnt see that many hip hop fans turning up to dance in the mud just for Jay-Z, besides, getting filthy in the mud is not something i would associate with hip hop fans. They like to look immaculate in their imported trainers and designer hooded tops etc.
Anyway, Jay-Z is no longer any good, he is a pop rapper now.

I think that Jay-Z can't sing.
But saying that, I think any sort of music should be fair game at Glastonbury, as long as it doesn't take over the event.
(His missus has a nice arse too)
