Does anyone remember when female rock bands were big, I mean heavy rock bands, like GirlsSchool, The Runaways, the fictional Rock Follies from the TV series of the same name, solo artist Suzi Quatro etc. They were quite big in their day. But since the mid eighties all girl bands have tended to play soft pop music. The last all female band with even a slightly hard edge were the Bangles of the 80s.

The butch female singer from Girls School now in her late forties.

The drummer from a band called Fuzzbox went to drum for L7. I thought they were a little over talented for her if truth be told.

That said, Viki Perks from Fuzzbox had her face adorned all over my wall when I was a lil lad. Phwoar.
