Is anyone here planning on going to Download Festival??

I intend on going again this year

I shall be there lol Hopfully the troubles of last year will be forgoten .

I wish I could go, but I've not got the money. I hate being a broke student.

i'm not really keen on this year's line up. i mean COME ON! My Chemical Romance headlining??? Last year there was Tool, Metallica and Guns n' roses! that band is hardly in the league of those 3 giants...meh still undecided.

MCR are fantastic, well worth headlining. Ok, so they are not as good as Metallica or GNR (not yet anyway), but they are much better than Tool.

I'd love to be able to go and am jealous of everyone who can, ESPECIALLY with MCR headlining- they are my favorite! I guess I'll just have to listen to all of those great bands and pretend I'm there

i want to go but i dont have flexitime to get there or back in

but the line up doesnt thrill me and it killed my bank and my tent doing two festivals last yr

so just leeds this yr

The line up ok I guess. Pretty bummed that some of the bigger bands are only on stage two or even three but yeah.

Im not really an MCR fan so Ill be there for slayer and motley crue more than anything.

It is expensive I spent nearly £500 before the festivasl on drink and stuff and spent £300 when I got there.
