Funky, electro, bit of minimal, breaks....all good.
Cirez D producing some good tunes at the mo along with Col Hamilton, Whoxton Whores remix's some of my fav's to. Kurd Maverick, Haji and Emanual, Nathan G..list to long. Not really into commercial dance music, far better tunes out there than you hear in the charts. |
Couldn't agree more, the chart stuff is for mecca/mainstream clubs. most people see dance music as that cheesy euro-house that keeps being churned out with endless compilations of the rubbish. I like it deep, dubby, twisted & very electronic. Fabric is my club of choice if away, & Stealth if i'm at home.

My brother knew that fat guy. Covered all the classics in a shouty London way. Most people don't get 'dance music'. I am being snobbish. Really, most people follow what they think is cool when it comes to it. Which is amusing. |
thats the guy, hardly anyone remembers him, he used to dj on radio london doing soul shows. its a shame he died young. your right alot of people go with whats cool. when somethings hyped up alot in the media, i often find myself staying well away from it, then 2 years later i go and listen to it when all the hype has died down. you get to appreciate it for what it was that way, rather than for what 'the scene' wants you to make it, in my opinion.

someone who used to be on this website kind of introduced me to the delights of the DJ Ben-xo on bassdrive radio
