Dancing in the Streets, personally I think no one can beat the original Martha/Vandellas, but Bowie/Jagger were pretty close to being as good, if not better.
Didnt like van halen's attempt, sorry to disagree.

Cant think of a cover version of anything off-hand right now.
Except perhaps Sinatra's rip-off of Claud Francois' My Way. No wait, I prefer the French original version. Heck, let me sleep on it.
